Kallor malazan

All things considered, Kallor doesn't seem to mind being immortal that much, so it doesn't seem like a great punishment, and he's caused a tremendous amount of suffering by virtue of being immortal (there's literally a part earlier in the book where he's thinking about all the babies he's killed) Edit for some context: Kallor himself claimed to have once ruled empires, each one making the Malazan Empire seem no larger than a province. Kallor boasted he had destroyed them all and made worlds lifeless. Hopefully you don't quite understand this.

Ereko [Ehre-ko] was an ancient Thel Akai from Jacuruku, and probably the last of his kind.[1][2] He was described as fully two man-heights tall with startling golden eyes and tusk-like teeth.[3][4][5] In conjunction with his height, he possessed enormous strength. He was armed with a spear that was even taller than himself, and wore a cloak of layered pelts over human smithed mail.[6] Around Thel Akai were "The People" or the "First People", first-born of the Malazan world.[1][2] They were described as "giants" standing even taller than Tarthenal Theloman Toblakai, who were their descendants. When they died, they turned to earth and soil, "returning to the Earth", their mother.[3] 1 Culture 2 Notable Thel Akai 3 Descendant Races 4 Language 5 In Return of the Crimson Guard 6 Trivia A Malazan Civilization game with a very accurate map of Mu. Korlat asked Brood to keep his faith in the Tiste Andii and she, Orfantal, and their kin would march ahead with Whiskeyjack. Kallor claims to have "walked this land when the T'Lan Imass were children" at some stage in MoI. In MoI, the prologue dates back to the Fall, and the removal, if you like, or the Kallorian Empire by K'rul, by which time there are only 3 elder gods still active, so this must be long after the new prologue. Kallor, full name Kallor Eiderann Tes'thesula, was second-in-command of Caladan Brood's forces during the Malazan campaign in Genabackis..

And as some others have said, him staying alive for ever but never achieving anything and everything he gains eventually turning to ashes does seem like a most cruel purgatory. About Kallor Does anyone else want to to see a separate series/prequel about High King and how he got so powerful even though he is neither a Mage nor an Ascendant? I think he deserves his own books more than Karsa (Karsa is extremely overhyped, I just can't really stand him, so I mostly skipped his episodes in the main series. Edit for some context: Kallor himself claimed to have once ruled empires, each one making the Malazan Empire seem no larger than a province.
